Pre-Match Orientation

Sixth grade girls are referred through our BCPSS partner middle schools for a 10-week after-school program designed to develop social emotional core competencies and build a foundation for one-to-one mentorship.

One-to-One Mentorship

In the spring of sixth grade, students are paired with a mentor. After completing the application process, new mentors commit to 4-8 hours of contact each month during the middle and high school years.

Mentor-Mentee Activities

Sisters Circle offers a diverse mix of monthly educational, cultural and recreational match activities. Such experiences play a critical role in strengthening mentor-mentee bonds, offering mentor support, and building a sense of community and connection.

Summer Experiences

Our middle school students are invited to attend summer camp to stretch beyond their comfort zone, gain exposure to different people and perspectives, and exercise problem-solving and team-building skills.

Post-Secondary Planning

Our team supports upperclassmen through personalized goal-setting, assistance with applications and financial aid forms, and communication with each mentor, family, and school.
